Author Events

The kids are heading back to school and we have lots of programs for adults this fall, including a number of great author events.

Highlights include:

  • A program on “Writing Historical Mysteries” with novelists M. E. Kemp and Susanne Alleyn as part of our Friday Morning series on September 23rd at 10:30 AM.
  • Local authors at our 3rd Book Fair on Saturday, September 24th from 1-3 PM,
  • A new Skype program (think the phone that George and Judy Jetson used) with Kenneth C. Davis , author of the Don’t Know Much about History series, on Monday, September 26th at 7PM
  • Perennial favorite Jon Katz on Thursday, September 29th at 7 PM during the week that his new book, Going Home: Finding Peace When Pets Die is released.
  • Our 4th Annual Event co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library with Alafair Burke, whose new book, Long Gone was hailed as “a page turner from a major talent” by Harlan Coben.  This program will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 2 PM.   Registration is required for this program and begins on Saturday, October 1st.
